Cincinnati Reds exhibition game at UK, 1946

The baseball field at the University of Kentucky's Stoll Field played host to an exhibition game between the Cincinnati Reds and Boston Red Sox April 9, 1946. It was the first game ever played there by two major-league teams. Cincinnati won 4-2. The crowd was estimated at 7,000-8,000.
