Hall was a member of UMWA Local 7425 and was a miner at the U.S. Steel Mine No. 32. In the background is fellow miner and UMWA member, William Clark. Thousands of active and retired (UMWA) members from seven states are expected to attend a rally in downtown Lexington Tuesday in support of legislation pending in Congress to protect health care and pension benefits for retired coal miners, their dependents and widows.
