Don Barker, manager of the Murphy’s Camera store in Lexington, displayed new digital photo technology in October 1997. His photo, taken with the Nikon DCS-410c digital camera, was downloaded and displayed on the Apple Power Mac 5500/225 computer, showing the immediate results of digital photography.
