‘Snow Barracuda,’ 1978

A recent winter storm in early 1978 left Lexington encased in snow and ice. This ice-covered car on Zandale Drive was dubbed a “snow Barracuda” by staff photographer David Perry. Friday’s weather forecast calls for a wintry mix changing to snow by early afternoon across the Bluegrass region.
